Timeshare rentals may include fees and taxes charged at different points in the booking and check-in process. This policy outlines which charges RedWeek collects and which are determined by the resort. All renters are responsible for understanding these fees before booking.
Fees Collected by RedWeek
RedWeek collects:
- The full rental price set by the owner
- RedWeek’s service fee
- Any taxes RedWeek is required to collect at checkout
These amounts are shown clearly before payment is processed.
Fees Collected by the Resort
Resorts may charge additional fees at check-in that are not included in your RedWeek payment. These fees are determined solely by the resort and may include:
- Resort or usage fees
- Parking fees
- Local or occupancy taxes
- Guest certificate fees (for certain vacation clubs)
- Refundable security deposits
RedWeek does not control or waive these charges.
Disclosure of Fees
- All known resort fees are listed on the rental posting whenever available.
- Resorts may update fees without notice.
- Renters are responsible for paying any fees the resort assesses at check-in.
No Refunds for Resort Fees
Because resort fees are set by the property:
- RedWeek cannot refund, reduce, or negotiate them.
- Disputes about fees must be handled directly with the resort.
- Deposits are released by the resort according to their own policies.
Renter Responsibility
By booking, renters agree to:
- Review all listed fees prior to submitting a booking request
- Bring a valid credit or debit card for deposits and onsite fees
- Comply with all resort billing policies at check-in
