Once a renter books your week on RedWeek, the process is designed to be smooth and straightforward. RedWeek manages the communication with the renter, and you complete only the steps required to prepare the reservation for their stay.
Booking Confirmation
After you approve a booking request:
- RedWeek collects payment from the renter
- The booking becomes confirmed
- You receive a notification with the guest information needed to update your reservation
Your Next Step: Update the Guest Name
You are responsible for updating the guest name on your reservation with your resort. This step must be completed promptly to ensure a smooth check-in for the renter.
RedWeek will provide:
- The renter’s full name
- Any additional details your resort requires for a guest certificate or reservation update
If your resort charges a guest-name change fee, the renter pays this directly to the resort unless stated otherwise.
RedWeek Manages All Renter Communication
You do not need to communicate directly with the renter. RedWeek handles:
- Questions before arrival
- Confirmation details
- Check-in expectations
- Any renter concerns
You will only be contacted if additional clarification is needed about your reservation.
What Renters Receive
Once booked, renters get:
- A booking confirmation email
- Check-in instructions (when available)
- Information about resort policies and fees
- Details about what to expect upon arrival
What Happens to Your Posting
After the booking is confirmed:
- Your posting is automatically marked as rented
- Renters can no longer submit booking requests for that week
If Your Reservation Changes After Booking
If your resort modifies your unit or dates after a renter has booked, notify RedWeek immediately. We will work with you to ensure the renter receives accurate information.
Cancellations or Issues
If a renter needs to cancel or if you encounter a reservation problem, contact RedWeek Support right away. Policies vary depending on resort rules and the timing of the cancellation.
Once your rental is booked, the process is simple: update the guest name, and RedWeek handles the rest.
