Do not leave the resort. Stay with the staff so they can continue searching. Most issues resolve within minutes.
Ask the Front Desk to Search Additional Systems
Timeshare resorts often use multiple systems. Ask the front desk to check:
- Owner or timeshare inventory system
- Vacation club or exchange system
- Alternate spelling of your name
- The owner’s reservation number (not the hotel confirmation number)
Your reservation may not appear in the hotel’s standard booking system.
Verify Information with the Front Desk
Confirm that:
- Your name was spelled correctly
- You are using your full legal name (matching your ID)
- They checked for the arrival date you were given in your booking confirmation
If They Still Cannot Locate the Reservation
Ask the front desk agent for:
- The name or department of the person helping you
- A clear explanation of what they are seeing in their system
- Any internal notes about pending updates or name-change delays
