Booking a timeshare rental on RedWeek is easy and secure. Once you find a rental you want, you submit a booking request with your payment, the owner accepts, and RedWeek manages the entire process from approval to check-in support.
How to Submit a Booking Request
1. Find a rental you’re interested in. You can start by searching for a location or resort name from the home page.
2. Select “Request to Book.”
3. Review the full details, including dates, price, resort policies, and fees.
4. Enter your guest information (must match your ID for check-in), and payment details.
5. Submit your booking request.
What Happens After You Submit a Request
- Your request is sent to the owner for approval.
- The owner confirms the unit is still available and accepts your booking, which is when RedWeek processes your payment and notifies you if there are any issues.
- RedWeek does a final confirmation that your name has been added to the reservation. You will receive updates by email and/or SMS at every step.
Your Booking Is Not Final Until Payment Is Processed
Submitting a request does not immediately reserve the unit.
Your booking becomes confirmed only after:
- The owner approves your request, and
- Your payment is successfully completed.
If the Owner Declines Your Request
If the owner is unable to approve your request:
- You will be notified right away.
- You can request a different rental at any time.
Tips for a Smooth Booking Experience
- Ensure the guest name on your booking request matches your government ID.
- Review resort-specific fees and check-in requirements.
- Act quickly if the owner requests clarification (via RedWeek).
The booking process is designed to be simple and secure, with RedWeek managing all communication and verification on your behalf.
Bookings that are 10 or more days from check-in are typically removed from the website. Last minute travel is not generally possible inside of 10 days to check-in, with a few exceptions.
When looking at all-inclusive resort, please be aware the fee for the all-inclusive plan is not included in the owner's price, unless explicitly stated in the rental posting.
You may rent a week as a gift for a friend or family member. Make sure to give us their name in the Guest Name information section. If the name on your credit card does not match the guest name, we may reach out to you to provide authorization for the transaction.
