After your stay is complete, there are a few optional steps you can take—such as leaving feedback—and some situations where RedWeek may follow up with you. Most stays end without any further action needed.
Confirmation of Stay Completion
Once your checkout date passes, your reservation is marked as completed in RedWeek’s system. No additional steps are required.
Leave Feedback (Optional but Encouraged)
You can share your experience by leaving a review on the completed reservation in your account. Feedback helps:
- Future renters make informed decisions
- RedWeek maintain listing accuracy
- Owners understand what went well or could improve
We appreciate all thoughtful and honest feedback.
If You Experienced Issues During the Stay
If something went wrong and was not resolved by the resort:
- You may report the issue to RedWeek after checkout
- Include photos, documentation, and details about what occurred
RedWeek will review your concerns and determine what follow-up steps are appropriate.
(See: “How to Report an Issue After Your Stay.”)
Security Deposits
If the resort placed a hold on your credit or debit card at check-in:
- This hold is released by the resort directly
- Timing varies by bank or card issuer
- RedWeek does not process or control deposit refunds
Unexpected Charges from the Resort
If you were charged for:
- Damage claims
- Incidentals
- Added services
- Parking or resort fees
These are handled directly by the resort. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact the resort for clarification. RedWeek can help verify reservation details if needed.
No Further Action Required
If your stay was smooth:
- You do not need to notify RedWeek
- Your booking remains in your account for your records
- You can book your next stay whenever you're ready
Your Completed Booking History
Your past rentals are stored under “My Trips” or your booking history so you can:
- View past details
- Reference your stay dates
- Leave a review
- Book at the same resort again
A Completed Stay Close-Out
Once your trip is finished, your involvement with the reservation is complete unless:
- You want to leave feedback, or
- You need RedWeek’s help with a post-stay issue
Most travelers have nothing more to do—your stay is simply marked as successfully completed.
