Once your booking is confirmed on RedWeek, the owner and RedWeek complete a few final steps to prepare your reservation for check-in. Here’s what you can expect leading up to your stay.
Your Payment Is Processed
After the owner approves your booking request, RedWeek processes your payment securely. You will receive a receipt for your payment, and details on the next steps.
The Owner Updates the Guest Name
To ensure a smooth check-in, the owner must update the guest name on the reservation with the resort. RedWeek provides the owner with the information they need. This update:
- Is required for the resort to allow you to check in
- Must match the name on your government ID
RedWeek Provides Your Final Confirmation
After the owner changes the name on the reservation and sends us an updated confirmation, the renter will receive:
- A final confirmation letter
- Any applicable check-in instructions
This information may appear in your booking confirmation or be sent separately as your travel date approaches.
What If the Resort Asks for More Information?
Occasionally a resort may request:
- Additional guest details
- Names of all adults staying in the unit
- Contact information
If this happens, RedWeek will contact you to gather what is needed.
What You Should Do Before Arrival
- Make sure your name is exactly as it appears on your ID
- Review all resort rules and fees
- Bring your booking confirmation
- Reach out to RedWeek if anything seems unclear
If Something Changes With Your Reservation
If the resort adjusts the unit, confirmation number, or dates:
- The owner must inform RedWeek
- RedWeek will notify you and confirm next steps
A Smooth Arrival Starts Here
By the time you travel:
- The reservation is confirmed
- Your name is on file at the resort
- You have check-in instructions
- RedWeek remains available to assist if anything unexpected occurs
This process ensures you’re fully prepared for a stress-free check-in and stay.
