If you decide that you no longer want travel insurance, your options depend on the insurance provider’s policy and the timing of your request.
In many cases, travel insurance can only be declined or refunded within a limited window after purchase. Once that window has passed, the insurance cost is typically non-refundable, even if the trip has not yet occurred.
Travel insurance is separate from your rental booking. Removing or declining insurance does not change:
• Your rental price
• RedWeek service fees
• Resort fees or taxes
• RedWeek’s cancellation or refund policies
If you purchased travel insurance and have questions about canceling or modifying your coverage, you should contact the insurance provider directly. RedWeek is not able to cancel or adjust insurance policies on your behalf.
Before purchasing, review the insurance provider’s terms carefully so you understand your options if you later decide the coverage is not needed.
